    Joonas is the founder and CEO of JVT Wellness, who developed the Atlas Care neck stretcher as a solution to his own recurring headaches. Today, he runs the company and helps thousands find natural relief from neck stiffness and migraines.

    Markku is a Finnish neurologist who has been treating and researching migraines for over 30 years. He has been involved in development work to ensure that the Atlas Care device is based on an understanding of the importance of neck and skull base muscles in migraine treatment.
    Markku joined the JVT Wellness team because he saw the device as a simple yet effective way to alleviate migraine symptoms – without medication.

    How the Atlas product family was born

    I have suffered from headaches and migraines since childhood, which is why I have been getting massages regularly for years. In 2021, while I was with a masseuse, I asked if his neck technique could be replicated with a device. He doubted that the device would be able to accurately reproduce the necessary pressure.

    However, I owned a 3D printing company, so I decided to give it a try. I made a prototype in 24 hours and sent a picture of it to my masseuse – she was immediately enthusiastic. We worked on the idea together, and just a week later, Atlas Care and Atlas Touch were ready. My masseuse said that the device applied pressure in exactly the right place. That’s when I realized I wasn’t the only one who needed a product like this.
