Research – Atlas Care and its effects

Two physiotherapy student theses have been conducted on the Atlas Care neck stretcher, examining its effect on neck muscle relaxation and user experiences. Although these studies are not peer-reviewed, they provide indicative information on the potential benefits of the device alongside user experiences.

Atlas – the effect of the neck stretcher on headaches: A survey of user experiences

This thesis used a survey to map the effects of the Atlas neck stretcher on headaches based on user experiences. The device is designed to relieve headaches caused by tension in the neck and shoulder area. No previous studies had been conducted on the effectiveness of the device, and the purpose of this survey was to provide preliminary information on the device's user experiences and functionality. The aim was to determine whether the intensity, duration or frequency of headaches decreases with the use of the device, and the effect of the device on the daily functioning of the participants in the study.

Thesis supports the safety of the Atlas Care neck stretcher

Before launching the Atlas Care neck stretcher, we wanted to ensure its safety and proper use. To support this, a physiotherapist's thesis was completed, evaluating the safe use of the device and its suitability for the management of muscle-related tension headaches .

The aim of the thesis was to compile up-to-date research information on the effects of manual manipulation of the upper neck and to develop a user manual that ensures the correct and safe use of the device.
